Thanks to this competition I learned a lot on a subject which was completely new for me and I had to use this newly obtained knowledge in a practical context. I really enjoyed the educational aspect of this Moot. Although I am not planning a career in international arbitration, I am grateful for practical skills I obtained in this competition.”

No wonder that last autumn I decided to join the JU team in the Sixteenth Annual of Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. It was an excellent choice – I have deepened my knowledge and developed my interests in comparative law as well as improved my skills concerning legal writing in English and reading in German and French. Apart from my legal interests, I am interested in history, architecture and classical music – so I enjoyed the trip to Vienna also from that point of view.
